November 24
We didn't get up too early, but once we got up we got the rolls started and the stuffing. Once the turkey was in the oven we drove to the Arlington National Cemetery. Again we had another pretty fall day.
There is no longer a tram to take you to the different places in the cemetery so we got our exercise in. This area reminded me a lot of the cemetery in France.
The Arlington House was own by George Washington's granddaughter. She married one of the leaders of the confederate army, Robert E Lee. I don't think he actually ever lived in the house.
The Eternal flame for President Kennedy.
I'm glad we had to do some walking. This is what we were able to see.
We made it in time to see the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It is quite emotional to see this. Everyone was really quiet.
