Spring Break

This is the last day of my spring break. I really have enjoyed having a different routine than normal. I had a chance to play the first few days. Last Saturday I went to watch the Call kids play ball. The games were fun to watch. They sure keep a busy Saturday. It reminded me of the way our Saturdays use to be just a few years ago. In between games I got to see Tim, Tanya, and Marisa. The ladies and the children went out for dinner. The men went to Priesthood meeting. On my way home I stopped and bought my birthday present for Marisa. I hope she will like it. I think her parents will.

Monday was another play day. Kari, Tanya, and I along with the kids went to Legoland. The last time we went, the Garners went with us. It is a fun place, but really not as kid and parent friendly as Disneyland. The kids had to be just the right height to go on the rides or have an adult with them. Marisa really didn't get to go on very many rides because she wasn't big enough. Some of the rides we couldn't quite figure out why she couldn't go on them even with Tanya. They have added new attraction since we were there last.

Since my play days I have been basically home by myself. It is amazing how much can get done when nobody is around. I got the carpets cleaned, bought a new water softener, changed my phone plan, and signed up for my last two graduate classes. I did all of this from the comfort of my home. I think Wayne will be glad when I go back to work. I usually don't spend much money when I'm at school all day. I also kept busy many hours working on six different lessons ie. reading the text, watching the videos, taking quizzes and writing papers. In the evenings I did a lot of prep work for projects my first graders will be doing for open house. Saturday I planted my garden. I think I completed or at least started most of the things I had on my to-do list (notice I didn't say Honey-do list).

Saturday evening I got to see my husband for a few hours. He took my with him to deliver a few tax returns to his old ladies, then we went to dinner. He also spent his birthday money from his mom and bought another Tommy shirt. (Just gotta have another Tommy shirt.) He can hardly wait to have the 15th here. Wednesday he is going golfing, All Day.
Marisa loved looking at the Las Vegas Lego city.
Yes, I did get wet taking this picture.
Just some of the cuties I was with.
Guess who?
Look Mom, I riding a horse by myself.
