Easter 2008

Easter 2008 has come and gone. We had a lot of fun here in sunny California. Actually it was quite hot for Easter. Tim made us turn on the air conditioner because he was so hot. We had it on for about 1/2 hour. It was Marisa's first Easter. She was cute with the plastic Easter eggs. While we were waiting for Wayne to get home from doing church business she was busy moving the plastic eggs from one basket to another. At the end of the night the kids were trying to get all their baskets. Tanner had hidden Cade's. He went right to it but it was empty. He had taken it under the pool table and eaten all of Cade's candy. Cade was really a pretty good sport about the whole problem.
All of the boys and Haylie minus Tim and Matt. Matt was enjoying a Sunday nap. I'm not sure where Tim was. Happy Birthday Wayne.

The girls are enjoying a beautiful Easter afternoon.

Happy Easter

Here are a few picture from last year's Easter. It was great to be in Utah in the spring. Spring is earlier this year so it is great to be in Sunny Southern California. Maybe tomorrow evening I will have some pictures to post of this years' Easter. Have a wonderful day.

Easter is a beautiful time of year.

I am so grateful to our Savior that His death and resurrection make it possible for me to live with Him someday. It is now up to me to do my best so I can live with Him.

Happy 58th Birthday Wayne!!!!

Boy that sounds old.

Wayne, I want to wish you a

Happy Birthday.

I know your birthday always comes in the middle of tax season. I always feel bad that you don't really get to celebrate. You tell me almost every morning that you need a vacation. These pictures are to remind you of our last vacation in Hawaii. I know how excited you are about our trip to Italy. However, I think you are probably more excited about spending time with the whole family at Newport and then with the grown-up kid in the Bahamas. The Road to Hana was the best. Everyone should try it at least once. We have tried it twice. The scenery is amazing. Look at how blue the water is.

The sunsets were fantastic.

I hope you can find sometime to remember that you have a reason to celebrate. It's really not another year older, but another year better. I think you are wonderful. I love you.
I wish you could have a day of golfing.
