Tim rented a car for the week. He picked it up after work one night He did a great job driving. He had to shift with his left hand and drive on the left side of the road. Wayne didn't even want to try. They usually take the bus to church, but this week we went in a car. Our first excursion was to the beach city of Brighton. We finally saw some sun. It was a warm pleasant day. We saw the Royal Pavilion. We didn't go inside. It looks very ornate and exotic. However, it isn't as impressive as these pictures. It badly needs a fresh coat of paint.
Our favorite place was Brighton Pier. This is just the front. It goes on for a long ways. It has several casinos and amusement areas.
I got to visit with the royals.
Wayne would have stayed here a long time. He was hoping for complete ambience
