Day Two - Greenwich and London

We woke up August 4th with this little one in our bed. It was her birthday. Tanya always does the cutest things for the girl's birthdays. This birthday was a tea party. Instead of tea we had hot chocolate. It was yummy.

After we were cleaned up we went out for a day of fun. Our first stop was the National Maritme Museum. The museum has a lot of hands on activites to make it interesting for the kids. Adults can enjoy it also.

Natalie kept coming back to this fun little area.

Marisa and Tanya made a craft of a beach scene.

Wayne was suppose to be babysitting Natalie. Like how he was watching?

The rain was on and off during the day. Marisa loved the puddles.

More puddles.

Greenwich Market. Thursday is antique day. There were many things to look at and enjoy. We enjoyed our lunch here.

Our next stop was at the Royal Observatory. This is where you find the prime meridian.

The line goes right through Tim and Tanya's borough.

Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese pub is where we ended up for dinner. We left Greenwich and went into downtown London after we picked Tim up at Canary Wharf. It was at the time everyone gets off work so the underground was crowded.

After dinner we walked around the city. Instead of the underground we took buses. The walk took us to St. Paul's Cathedral.

The cathedral is really pretty inside and out. We didn't go in, Wayne and I had a chance to do that last year. I hope Tim and Tanya get a chance to go in while they are in London.

We took the bus to Trafalgar Square. Natalie really enjoyed the fountain. To prove it she even licked it as she was trying to climb in. We had a fun day.
